SGL's FlashNet selected by SBS for Avid Interplay integration IBC,
Stand 8.131e, Amsterdam Software Generation Limited (SGL), a leading provider of content archive and storage management software for media and entertainment, has today announced that SBS has selected SGL FlashNet as a critical element of its data archive installation. SBS, owned by ProSiebenSat1 Media AG, is using SGL FlashNet as part of the Avid Interplay non-linear digital workflow system, to control the backup and retrieval process of news and documentary material, which is stored within its archive. This state-of-the-art archive system provides SBS with a highly secure and sophisticated workflow, and significant ROI.
