SGL appoints Juan Pablo Garza as Sales Director Latin America

Software Generation Limited (SGL), a leading provider of content archive and storage management software for media and entertainment, has today announced Juan Pablo Garza as Sales Director, Latin America. Garza, who has an impressive track record spanning more than 17 years in the broadcast marketplace, will further enhance the company's presence and commitment within the region.

Garza, who recently held the position of International Territory Manager, Latin America at Harris Corporation, will be key in developing new business opportunities and further strengthening SGL's direct sales and reseller partnerships throughout the region. At Harris, Garza established and developed the Latin American territory as an independent sales region; hired and managed distribution channels throughout Central and Southern America; coordinated sales channels; and successfully introduced products from all business units.

Highly regarded by industry professional in the region, Garza sold the first server based news room systems in Mexico and Panama. Prior to joining Harris he held positions at Hewlett Packard, Sony Profesional de México, MVS Televisión (formerly Telerey - MVS Multivisión) and Heaven Sound (formerly Imagen Acústica SA de CV), both in Mexico City.
