SGL, a leading digital video storage/archive management software solutions provider, will debut the latest version of SGL FlashNet, part of the company’s FlashNet Archive Management Suite. SGL is an integral part of the complete media management solution adopted by all of the leading video server, automation, NLE and asset management vendors worldwide.

SGL will have two booths of its own at NAB 2007. The first is located in the UK Pavilion (SU8607) and the second is located in the Avid Developers’ Community (SL1413E), next to the Avid booth. SGL will provide regular full demonstrations on its main booth (SU8607) of a complete media archive data workflow for media and entertainment including: ingest, browse, archive and disaster recovery with full scalabilty, resilience and fail over.

*StorageManager - As an extension to SGL FlashNet’s powerful functionality, SGL StorageManager allows broadcasters and content providers to apply “LifeCycle” rules to move, copy and manage material within the archive storage, based on their specific business requirements.

In addition, visitors will be able to receive demonstrations of specific integrations and workflows on the following partner booths: main Avid booth (SL1410), Grass Valley, Inc (SL2020), IBIS (SU8605), Pro-Bel (SU8511), Sony (SU906) and others to be confirmed.
